You know you have special clients when you cant stop smiling while editing their images. Shannon and Nick were pros when it came to creating the most intimate and beautiful wedding day. Together with their closest friends and family they got ready and had a very small and intimate Toronto City Hall wedding. From there, just the three of us adventured through the city and ended up on a patio for drinks. The patio was nearly empty, apart from 5 of the kindest people ever, who felt so honoured to be sharing a patio with a couple on their wedding day that they surprised Nick and Shannon with a Bottle of champagne, hugs and well wishes. We finished up the champagne and walked a few blocks down to Union where additional friends and family were already mingling.
Part two of the ceremony took place on the back patio of Union (which is GORGEOUS) and was led by Shannons two close friends. Nick and Shannon exchanged beautiful vows and had their rings passed around to be held and blessed by each guest. I most definitely shed a tear or two during the ceremony – it was so heartfelt and so them.
Weddings like this one make my heart so happy and grateful to do what I do for a living.
