Paragraph
I find memory such a beautiful and interesting tool. It’s incredible that we can close our eyes, and replay old moments and memories.
In going through my own relationship transition, I’ve been quite introspective on the subject and while documenting Daniel and Madison last week, I decided to create my own little narrative surrounding the idea of memories within the realm of a relationship. I suppose thats what artists tend to do anyway, we inject our own worldview into our work.
My memories are of the moments of growth, the challenges, the heart ache, the struggles, and they are also of the moments of comfort, of lust, of deep love and affection. There is so much beauty in the evolution and intricacies of a relationship. The act of finding one another, and the cycle of perhaps losing and rediscovering each other over and over again. The balance of the need for independence and for companionship. And the desire that most humans feel to want to love and be loved.
