In the beautiful setting of Parkwood Estate, a Toronto national historic site, I had the privilege of capturing the unique love story of Becca and Richard. As a Toronto wedding photographer, I always get excited to take photos in places I have never been.

Their story began with a challenge. Richard’s five-month exchange term in Switzerland, just four months into their relationship. The distance seemed daunting. Yet, Richard’s heartfelt postcards from across Europe, expressing how he wished Becca were by his side, laid the foundation for their future.

Fast forward to the present, and Parkwood Estate became the canvas for their engagement portraits. Retelling the story of how they communicated through postcards and got closer until finally making it back to each other.
