Maybe it’s due to the fact that I watched Father of the bride one too many times as a child, but just I can’t help but romanticize the concept of getting married in the house you grew up in. Caroline’s house was the perfect backdrop for celebration.

There were many highlights of the day for me, but what stood out the most was the fact that not only Caroline and Mike, but all of the guests, embraced the rain during the ceremony. Many of the guests snuggled in tight under umbrellas and all you could feel was love and warmth radiating outwards toward Caroline and Mike.
